Advising client on Enforcement Notice Appeal relating to change of use pursuant to permitted development rights to residential
- We act for the owner of a property which was granted prior approval to convert from an industrial warehouse into residential units
- During the conversion, minor works to the exterior were carried out. The Council served an enforcement notice requiring the conversion back to an industrial warehouse
- The appeal was successful. It was then challenged by the Council which was successful due in main to a change in caselaw. We now continue to act on the redetermination of the enforcement notice appeal in an upcoming public inquiry
