Russell-Cooke’s corporate and commercial team has advised TMB Group, professional IT support and services provider and leading supplier of Pegasus Software solutions, on the sale of Best IT Limited and its subsidiary Technology Means Business Limited to managed service provider Fifosys. The transaction is the Fifosys Group’s third acquisition in the last five years, taking the Group to a combined client base of over 400.
TMB provides a range of IT support services including disaster recovery, cloud backup, 24-hour support and cyber security. The business has been providing companies with professional IT services for over 30 years, with a client base across a number of key sectors including education, hospitality, retail and construction.
The Russell-Cooke team that advised on the deal consisted of Director of Client Services Emma Shipp and Deputy Senior Partner Jonathan Thornton. They worked closely with shareholders Tina Verney and Richard Shuker to bring the transaction to a successful close.
It was great to work on a fast-paced deal where all the parties were focussed on the commercial benefits of working together to continue to support clients. We are delighted for our clients and Fifosys and wish them every success going forward.
I would like to thank Russell-Cooke for their advice on this deal which allowed us to focus on the day-to-day running of TMB while the lawyers worked on the legal detail. Their commercial advice was key in completing the deal on time. They were a valuable partner throughout the process and we appreciate their efforts. We are thrilled about the future of TMB as part of the Fifosys Group and we look forward to working with our new colleagues and clients.
