Russell-Cooke is delighted to be sponsoring the Great British Entrepreneur Awards (GBEA) for the second year running. The firm has once again been named as the joint National Legal Partner, this time for the 2022 programme.

The second year of sponsorship will see Russell-Cooke further build on its engagement with the GBEA community by:

  • fielding judges for categories in this year’s awards
  • presenting webinars to community members
  • chairing round tables with community members
  • writing articles for the GBEA online publication

Russell-Cooke partnered with GBEA for the first time in 2021 and has also judged categories in the Food and Drink Heroes awards

Great British Entrepreneur Awards was founded in 2013 by Francesca James to acknowledge the hard work and inspiring stories of entrepreneurs and businesses in the UK. GBEA also provides networking opportunities through events and offers information and advice to entrepreneurs on business growth, marketing, health and wellbeing, and social values through its Lightbulb Sessions video series.

Guy Wilmot, head of startups, said: “It is a great pleasure to partner for another year with GBEA. It has been such a positive experience working with Francesca and the team and getting to know the community of entrepreneurs. Their energy and creativity is inspirational. We are excited to see what this year has in store.”

The corporate and commercial team at Russell-Cooke has helped numerous startups and entrepreneurs. They have advised businesses in sectors as diverse as hospitality, e-commerce, software, tech, automotive, distribution, recruitment, fast moving consumer goods, property, advertising and marketing, communications and media.

The winners of the Great British Entrepreneurs Awards will be announced on 21 November 2022 at the awards ceremony in the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
