Russell-Cooke's children and family-building specialists recognised in British Legal Awards
Russell-Cooke has been shortlisted in the Private Client Team of the Year category at the British Legal Awards this year, which recognises the full spectrum of private client work including family and children matters.
The children law team has been shortlisted for its family building work on intra-country surrogacy agreements and international adoption, cases that are unique both in the complexity and sensitivity of the advice required, and the high stakes involved for the clients.
Russell-Cooke is unusual in having a dedicated children law team that is able to provide support and tailored advice for every aspect of building a family, with experience in domestic and international family arrangements.
The firm's private client team was previously shortlisted for the same award in 2022.
The British Legal Awards recognise law firms and in-house counsel from across the UK profession and are judged by senior individuals from private practice, in-house and consultancy. The awards are now in their 15th year.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at City Central at the Honourable Artillery Company in London on 27 November 2024.
