About Alex
I can draw upon my background in environmental policy to advise on planning, land and contract law. I am particularly interested in changes to the planning system, and where this sits in the wider land use regulatory framework.
Alex is a second year-trainee in the real estate, planning and construction team. She advises on property purchase, reporting on and drafting s106 agreements and certificate of lawfulness applications, as well as enforcement and planning refusal appeals, and drafting and advising on planning objections.
Alex has experience across the public and private sector and a background in environmental policy, having previously been a policy adviser for the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero.
Education
- Completed undergraduate degree at the University of Edinburgh in International Relations
- Completed the GDL and LPC in London and Liverpool
- Completed an Energy and Climate Law LLM at the University of Groningen, Netherlands
