I pride myself on my empathetic and supportive approach to clients, particularly in challenging and distressing situations.

Deanna is an associate solicitor in the private client team in Kingston.  

Deanna joined Russell-Cooke in 2020 as a legal assistant, qualifying in October 2024.

She has extensive expertise in a range of private client matters, including estate administration, wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and applications to the Court of Protection.

She received the award for Paralegal of the Year at the Surrey Law Society in 2022.

Experience

Deanna’s experience includes:

  • estate administration of complex estates, encompassing international elements, high-value properties, taxation issues and business assets
  • preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney for clients as well as Deeds of evocation where appropriate. Deanna also has extensive experience acting on behalf of professional attorneys in managing the financial affairs of individuals who have lost mental capacity
  • preparing tax-efficient wills for her clients, incorporating various trusts.

Education

  • 1st Class degree in BSc Hons Criminology at Northumbria University 
  • Commendation in Masters in Law Conversion degree at The University of Law
  • Completed the Solicitors Qualifying Examination
