Edward has experience in advising on a broad range of commercial property transactions including landlord and tenant matters, development, investment acquisitions and disposals & real estate finance. 

Edward has acted for a wide variety of clients including institutional investors, major high street retailers, property companies, corporate occupiers and lenders operating within the industrial, office, retail and hospitality & leisure sectors.

He qualified as a solicitor in October 2008 and joined Russell-Cooke in January 2020.

Edward's experience includes:

• advising an international oil and gas company on taking a lease of its new UK offices in central London

• advising a UK based property company on the acquisition of a large multi-let office building in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne

• advising an international hospitality and hotel company on the refinancing of a hotel in West London

• acting for a Luxembourg based property fund on the acquisition of a large office building in Telford and its subsequent sale

• acting for a major high street retailer on the acquisition of new stores in Chiswick Park, Greenwich and Cobham 

• advising the landlords of a portfolio of landmark office and retail buildings in central London on property management and redevelopment     

• acting for a property company on a number of overage agreements relating to residential development land in Woodgate, West Sussex

• advising on the real estate elements of the corporate redomiciliation of a number of British Virgin Islands registered companies to Liechtenstein

• acting for a UK bank on a lease of new headquarters in Chester
