About Laurent
My former career as a trust and estate practitioner enhances and informs my work as a family estate-oriented landlord and tenant specialist and enables me to show exceptional understanding of technical concepts and their impact on strategic asset management advice.
Laurent specialises in collective enfranchisement, right of first refusal and lease extension matters, both on a statutory (Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 and Landlord & Tenant Act 1987) and on a non-statutory basis.
Laurent strives for excellence in all matters, furthering his knowledge by regularly attending conferences and seminars to ensure he is well-informed on the latest issues and developments impacting the leasehold sector.
Laurent regularly features in the press, writing for a number of leading property publications.
Laurent has achieved STEP qualification and is fluent in French, Dutch and Hebrew, using these languages to serve his international client-base.
Laurent Vaughan is exceptional, his knowledge on lease extensions and their complexities is exemplary, and my clients have been very impressed by his efficiency and knowledge.
