About Ria
Ria works with a wide variety of clients including insolvency practitioners, creditors, private companies, charities, company directors and individuals facing bankruptcy, advising on all aspects of both contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring matters.
Ria’s non-contentious work includes advising insolvency practitioners on all elements arising from their appointment either as administrator, liquidator or receiver, acting for both buyer and seller in business and asset sales out of administration and advising on company voluntary arrangements.
Ria’s contentious work includes advising on claims brought by insolvency practitioners, debt collection, directors’ duties and director disqualification proceedings.
Ria joined Russell-Cooke in 2024.

- Obtained a degree in Law from Nottingham Trent University
- Completed the Legal Practice Course at The University of Law
- Trained at a large UK law firm
