

About Tracey
I offer specialist advice on all aspects of planning.
Tracey's client base has included environmental and local government law, private and commercial property owners, developers, landed gentry, hotels, companies, housebuilders, local authorities, steel manufacturers, Universities, oil companies and charities.
Tracey has experience working with both local authorities and private firms, including magic circle firms in London. She is well-versed in all aspects of the development and planning process, as well as the political context surrounding it.
She lectures frequently on planning law to other property professionals and has lectured at the Planning Summer School.
Experience
Tracey's work includes:
- ensuring the maximisation of the development potential of land
- negotiations and appeals against refusal of planning permissions
- drafting and negotiating of planning agreements
- dealing with enforcement relating to listed buildings and other heritage and conservation matters
- applications for Certificate of Lawfulness
- acting as an advocate at Public Inquiries and hearings
- diversion and stopping up of footpaths and bridleways

Tracey has written parts of Butterworth’s Planning Law Encyclopaedia and a university textbook for Town Planning students.
