My house is not on the Land Registry - The Sunday Times
Nearly 40 years ago my husband and I bought our house in the Chilterns. It is now worth over £1 million. The house has never been registered with the Land Registry.
We have no intention of selling at the moment and I am told it is quite expensive to register the house, but would I be advised to do so? And if so, why?
Donall Murphy answers a reader's question in The Sunday Times' Home Help section.
My house is not on the Land Registry is available to read in the November 1 issue of The Sunday Times.
