Russell-Cooke advises on sale of GCC Group to create SME digital solutions powerhouse

Russell-Cooke’s corporate and commercial team has advised GCC Group, a leading business applications solutions (ERP and CRM) and managed IT services provider, on the sale of the company to digital solutions specialist Xperience. The transaction creates one of the UK’s largest SME digital solution providers, with over 230 employees.

GCC provides UK SMEs with cutting edge IT services and IT solutions, leveraging the best technologies for business intelligence and workplace transformation, including cloud-based solutions. The company supports over 600 clients in complementary sectors to Xperience including not for profit, professional services, wholesale, distribution and financial services.

The Russell-Cooke team who advised on the deal was led by partner Peter Jeffery. Peter advised the GCC leadership team, including chief executive, Chris Harthman, throughout the sale process, from assisting with the Heads of Terms agreements and due diligence to negotiating the Sale Agreement and obtaining third-party consent.
