Russell-Cooke appoints regulatory lawyer Alix Rejman as legal director
Russell-Cooke has appointed Alix Rejman to the role of legal director. This role was first established in December 2022 and Alix’s appointment to the role, effective from 1 July 2024, has brought the number in the cohort to 10.
Alix is a senior regulatory and public law specialist bringing considerable experience from her work both in private practice and in-house, having spent some years as General Counsel for a professional body. She has acted for both the regulators and the regulated (individuals and firms), managing investigations and disciplinary proceedings from both sides of the process. She has acted for claimants and defendants, appellants and respondents, both bringing and defending various claims including judicial reviews and statutory appeals. She has represented witnesses and core participants in public inquiries and has also advised those conducting a statutory public inquiry, as part of the solicitor to the inquiry team.
Alix Rejman’s experience includes advising on complex cross-jurisdictional and international proceedings. She is currently studying for a postgraduate certificate in Sustainable Business Leadership at the University of Leeds and is building a practice in environmental law.
Having qualified in 2004 Alix joined Russell-Cooke in October 2023 as a consultant in the firm’s regulatory and public law team.
