Russell-Cooke has been shortlisted for two private client awards at the British Legal Awards this year. The firm has been shortlisted in the following categories:

  • Contentious Trusts and Estates Disputes team of the year
  • Private Client Team of the Year

Both teams were also shortlisted last year in the STEP Private Client Awards 2021.

The British Legal Awards are hosted by Law.com International. The awards recognise law firms and in-house counsel from across the UK profession and are judged by senior individuals from private practice, in-house and consultancy. The awards are now in their 13th year.

Joint Managing Partner Alison Regan, who heads up the firm’s trust and estate disputes practice, said: “This is our first time applying to the British Legal Awards so we are of course incredibly pleased to be shortlisted in both categories and in such strong company. Working for private individuals on complex and sensitive matters makes it very difficult to talk about what we do so recognition in these awards is particularly gratifying.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Royal Lancaster London on 23 November 2022.
