Russell-Cooke senior associate Caroline Brosnan features in the HLPA podcast April 2021

In the twelfth episode of the Housing Law Practitioners' Association (HLPA) podcast, Russell-Cooke senior associate Caroline Brosnan gives an update on the Grenfell Inquiry. 

With Module 2 coming to an end, all eyes turn to Module 3 which, for housing lawyers, is key. It involves hearing from residents of the Tower about their complaints and the maintenance of the building before the fire.

Caroline also explains the remaining modules of the Inquiry and their timeframes.

HLPA is the association of housing law practitioners. Its objectives are to promote, foster and develop equal access to the legal system, the rights of homeless persons, tenants and others who receive housing services or are disadvantaged in the provision of housing and to foster the role of the legal process in the protection of tenants and other residential occupiers. The HLPA also aims to foster the role of the legal process in the promotion of higher standards of housing construction, improvement and repair, landlord services to tenants and local authority services to public and private sector tenants, homeless persons and others in need of advice and assistance in housing provision.

Caroline is a senior associate solicitor in the property and housing litigation team. She has experience in a range of housing and property matters, including possession, injunction and disrepair claims. She has also issued claims on behalf of clients for breaches of the Equality Act, including racial and disability discrimination. She is also advising and representing some of those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.
