Ensuring all is not lost!

At the start of a new year, whilst reflecting on the year gone by, many people will also start to think about and plan for the future.

In this latest newsletter, we offer further insights on how to deal with missing assets, people or documents. A reminder that it is important to regularly review documents and estate planning, so that if any issues are identified, they can be resolved during your lifetime, before it is too late. We recommend professional advice is sought, to ensure the correct process is followed, to protect and prepare your personal representatives and to ensure your loved ones and / or charities receive their intended entitlement from your estate.

Team Update

We are delighted welcome two significant and exciting additions to our private client team:

Did you know?

We can provide Notary Public Services: Typically this involves the authentication and certification of a wide variety of documents for use overseas for either personal or business purposes. Jonathan Thornton and Christopher Salomons are our notaries, who are both also qualified solicitors. They are both able to deal with most notarial documents but Jonathan is a company and business lawyer and so tends to deal with company notarisations, while Chris handles cross border tax and estate issues and will deal with notarisations for private individuals.

Barnes Musical Festival: Russell-Cooke are pleased to again be proud sponsors of the Barnes Musical Festival which will take place in March 2024. We are particularly sponsoring the concerts on Friday 15th March (Kanneh-Mason Trio) and on Thursday 21st March (Barnes Community Choir). Come and join us!
